It's very special to have this opportunity to focus on 10 days of prayer and fasting at the start of the new summer season.
Also, this is a season where the restrictions will be lifting, and hopefully we can be back together again, meeting publicly before too long.
In this month of May, leading up to Pentecost Sunday, we are really encouraging everybody to pray for a new experience of the Holy Spirit.
So please pray for the baptism and constant infilling of the Holy Spirit in your own lives. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in your own families, in the church and in our nation.
When we fast as well as pray, we are focussing our minds and bodies to see new levels of spiritual breakthrough.
Fasting can take different forms and should be carefully considered if you need medical advice. We suggest that you consider fasting food and drinks like wine, but not water, in some way each day. Also, it is good to fast from other distractions like tv and social media.
We encourage those who can to fast at least one meal a day during this time, and for everybody to have daily specific prayer times.
The 10 days of prayer and fasting are from Tuesday 4 May - Thursday 13 May inclusive.
On the tenth day, Thursday 13th May, we are going to be having three hours of prayer, from 6pm-9pm UK time / 7pm-10pm SA time, as an extended Thursday night prayer meeting. If you haven't already, you can register for the weekly prayer meetings using this link.
Keep praying for us as we pray for you.
God bless you and all of us greatly,
Senior Pastors Wes & Adriana Richards
