Message from the Senior Pastors
Hi all,
We are well and we hope you are too. We are home but not alone. God is with us and we are all part of a loving church family.
On Sunday I shared how the church must live by faith and not fear. I shared how the church must be flexible in any situation. Please be sure to listen to this preach on our podcast. Download the KCI app if you haven’t already done so.
In the fast-changing circumstances of this pandemic, we need also to quickly change our plans. Please watch the video below and read more about our plans for the season ahead.
So from this moment…
There will be no public services or events of King’s Church International for the foreseeable future
We will not be meeting at the Theatre Royal or Langley College or at King’s House or any other venue
All events, larger or smaller like Destiny Training or Life Class, are suspended
There will not be a Women’s Conference or a Men’s Conference this year
The G12 conference in June is provisionally postponed to the second weekend in October
All who have booked for the Women’s Conference will be offered refunds as soon as the Theatre is able to process this.
Staying connected
As I announced on Sunday, we plan to stay connected via our cell group network and via different forms of communication.
We want everybody to be connected to a cell and a cell WhatsApp group.
If the cell is unable to meet, then meetings will take place via a free conferencing system called Zoom. If you don’t know how to operate this, we will be sharing how you can. You will need a smartphone or computer for this.
Church online
We will have a one-hour Sunday service online at 10am. This will include preaching, some worship, testimonies and prayer ministry. It will all be presented in a way suitable for Christians and non-Christians. This video will then be available for viewing at any time. We will send all the links before the weekend.
This week I plan to speak on How to know God’s presence in a big storm.
Many people can be part of this as every one of you shares the details with your family and friends and contacts. The possibilities of this are limitless.
If you have any questions, please first contact your cell leader or email hello@kcionline.org
Please pray for Pastor Adriana and myself and for many in different teams who are working hard to connect the church through cells and communications.
We plan to be in regular touch but for now, be sure of this: we can stand firm on the rock that doesn’t roll.
We are part of the kingdom of God that can never be shaken. Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let us slip. He watches over us at all times. He will keep us from all harm. He will watch over our coming and going now and evermore.
Be sure of our love and prayers and receive an elbow bump.
