Watch KCI Feedback from G12 Conference 2015 Video

King's Church International was well represented at the G12 International Conference in Bogota, Colombia as Senior Pastor Wes Richards led a team of 17 to join over 24,000 delegates from across the globe.

The conference took place between the 26-31 January, with the highlight being an outreach event in Simon Bolivar Park, where evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke, preached a powerful message to over 130,000 people. This included incredible worship, with thousands of people committing their lives to Christ.

Pastors Melody and Drikus Erasmus were also invited onto stage during the conference to share the testimony of their baby daughter Grace.

At just three months old they found out Grace had four heart complications and needed emergency bypass surgery, as her heart was not pumping oxygen to her lungs properly. The doctors wanted to wait until she was older, but this was not possible as there would have been a risk of brain damage.

Pastor Melody said: "The daily reading of that day was about defeating sickness and in that moment we felt such a peace that God was with Grace. We were challenged to speak words of faith over her and not to listen to any negativity and to declare and apply the blood of Jesus over her.

Pastor Andrew Catano gave us a rhema word that the sickness would not end in death. We were in the hospital for four weeks... we were physically and emotionally exhausted ...but we felt such a sense of the hand of God over us.

When we opened the word it spoke to us like never before and when Pastor Cesar Castellanos prayed for Grace and my dad anointed her with oil something changed in Grace..her whole composure, she started to smile again and we knew when we left her with the surgeons we would see her again. "

Pastor Drikus recalled when Pastor Cesar Skyped them: " Three hours later things started stabilsing, it was truly miraculous.

We have discovered that often God can take us through the fire and it's very intimidating...but the blood of Jesus makes us fireproof...and the Bible says we will walk through the fire and we will not get burnt and we will walk through the waters and we will not drown. "

The operation was successful, with Grace making a full recovery and has recently celebrated her first birthday.

The conference is an annual event which takes every January and sets the theme for all G12 conferences which take place across the world throughout the year. The Theme for this year is A New Beginning.

The G12 vision is an evangelism and discipleship strategy to fulfill the Great Commission. It is founded upon the idea that every Christian can mentor and lead 12 people in Christian faith, following the example of Jesus.

It was conceived by Pastor César Castellanos in 1983 after he received a vision from God instructing him to implement this structure of cell groups of 12.

It was first modelled in his church in Bogotá, Colombia which has grown from just eight people in his living room to over 200,000 members, composing of 45,000 cell groups.

The conference spanned for six days with delegates from churches across the globe attending, including the likes of Brazil, South Korea, Sweden, USA,Venezuela and South Africa.

The days comprised of worship and preaching sessions from internationally renowned speakers including Pastors Cesar and Claudia Castellanos from Colombia, Pastor Lawrence Khong of Singapore and evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.

Some of the stand out preaches included one on needing the power of the Holy Spirit by Pastor Cesar Castellanos. Katharine New, conference attendee, said:

"It was in that preach that I realised how much I had neglected the Holy Spirit and that we actually need to be Spirit filled and Spirit led daily. Now I don't like to leave the house without welcoming Him in to my life."

Another was from Bishop Oriel Ballano who spoke on King David and being 'Almost Wrong But Right.' Joshua Earle, Communications Intern, said:

" When everyone around you thinks you are wrong and crazy you have to persevere...David didn't listen to the soldiers who told him he was stupid and needed to return to the sheep but pushed through and trusted God. It really challenged me to step up in my ministry this year. To not let the voices in the world slow me down. To conquer my giants. To be like David."

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke also gave an inspiring message on the personal touch of the Holy Spirit. He explained how everyone has their own Holy spirit flame which has their name. Esther Plumley, Youth leader, said she learned that:

"Only I can have my anointing and I am not going to be giving that blessing away...I can stand confident in the Holy Spirit living in me. I can have a new assurance of the truth so have no fear of moving forward in the Lord."

Reinhard Bonnke is a German evangelist who has carried out numerous crusades in Africa, preaching to crowds of over 1.6 million people at times. His missions during a period of 10 years have seen a total of 55 million people dedicate their lives to Jesus and over 73 million since 1987.

Jonathan Stevens, Communications Intern, said the preach which most spoke to him was from Pastor Lawrence Khong who spoke on miracles and healing. He explained how it was only through the power of the holy spirit that Jesus was able to perform miracles on Earth.

"This really awakened me as to God's capabilities through my life, that I have access to this same resurrection power; Christ came as a man!"

Samuel Earle, KCI Communications manager, who attended the conference for the fifth time, said:

" The Bogota church is inspiring in it's demonstration of complete commitment to God and each other... I'd love to see more of the same discipline of stepping up and stepping out in our youth and young people. I'm really looking forward to implementing this in the UK this year. "
