Former terrorist, David Hamilton, gave his incredible testimony at the Men's Breakfast to a packed Harte & Garter Hotel on Saturday 18 July.
Hamilton was a former member of the Ulster Volunteer Force and was one of the group's most prominent figures, becoming a target for the Irish Republican Army (IRA).
He was repeatedly shot, orchestrated bombings and bank robberies, and brought terror to the streets of Northern Ireland during the 1970's.
In 1978 Hamilton was eventually jailed for 11 years for a series of bombings and bank robberies. It was in his prison cell where he was given a revelation by God and that day read the Bible for the first time and gave his life to Christ.
After his release from prison in 1983, he moved to England where he spent many years running a drug rehabilitation centre in Manchester, before becoming Pastor of the Heaton Chapel Christian Fellowship.
