Got questions? Hopefully, we've got answers. If you can't find what you're looking for, please email the team at internship@kcionline.org.

What’s needed from me?

Applicants must have a heart to serve, skills & gifting they want to give to the church, and heaps of team spirit and endeavour.

At King's Church International, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our care and we expect all of our interns to do safe-guarding training and to be DBS checked as part of our application process.

All interns will also be committed members of King’s Church International and be in a small group.

Do I need to have office skills?

The basic office software of Outlook, Word, Powerpoint & Excel are used by most teams. In addition, we use tools such as Basecamp, Planning Center, Eventbrite and more, but you will receive training for any specialised tools. As long as you are digitally savvy or are willing to learn, you will excel.

Where will I be able to help?

The church works locally & globally. You will have a part to play, from the weekly small groups & services for kids, youth, and families, through to community action and global missions. There are countless teams involved in pulling this together, and the internship may involve working with communications, events, finance, media, production, IT, or in supporting the ministry activity itself.

Looking for a school internship?

There is a separate internship programme for The King's House School, Windsor. Roles include teaching assistance and school administration. Days & times may differ but the application process is the same.

What if I’ve not been to university?

You don't need a university education to apply for The internship.

What if I’ve already been to university?

The internship programme isn’t just for school leavers, around 1/3 of applicants already have a university degree. Each one of them learns incredible amounts of applicable skills and vocational expertise. In many cases, they weren't able to gain these skills from their university degrees.
