Women's Conference

Women's Conference

The Pavilion (map)

All women are invited to come to the Women's Conference 2018, the weekend before International Women’s Day.

The conference is always full of creativity, worship and the presentation of God’s Word. We'll be hearing from our pastors as well as women from multiple walks of life as we look at the theme Women of Compassion; we will be learning how we can know healing in our hearts and how we can show love and kindness to a hurting world.

The Bible says of Jesus; "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”” (Matthew 9:36-38.) We want to experience this for ourselves.

As well as sharing teaching and ministry, there will be time for fellowship with teas & coffees on both days, and two meals included on Saturday. Tickets are available for the full weekend with concessions available for OAPs, youth, students, and those currently unemployed. If you can’t make it for both days, there are also day tickets available for Friday evening and Saturday.

Please read below the registration form for FAQs regarding travel, parking, meals, and timings.

      Baptismal Service

      Baptismal Service

      Dedworth Green Baptist Church (map)

      Baptism is a defining moment in the life of any Christian; it symbolises the washing away of our sinful past and the chance to start a new life of righteousness in Jesus.

      Jesus showed us the importance of baptism, choosing to do so not because He was sinful, but to demonstrate His obedience to God's will.

      As Christians, we are called to respond and be obedient to God's command for our lives by being baptised in water, as told in 1 Peter 3:21;

      “...and this water symbolises baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

      So, baptism is not an optional extra. It is for everyone who has truly repented of their sins, who believes in Jesus and is willing to submit to His authority in every area of their life.

      In the Old Testament, Job exclaimed;  “Oh that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come to His seat! I would present my case before Him” (Job 23:3-4). Before Jesus, we had no way of approaching God personally, but because Jesus died for us we have been given access to personally encounter God!

      Baptismal Service

      Baptismal Service

      Baptism is a defining moment in the life of any Christian; it symbolises the washing away of our sinful past and the chance to start a new life of righteousness in Jesus.

      Jesus showed us the importance of baptism, choosing to do so not because He was sinful, but to demonstrate His obedience to God's will.

      As Christians, we are called to respond and be obedient to God's command for our lives by being baptised in water, as told in 1 Peter 3:21;
